Grant Guidelines
Merrill Lynch Giving
Merrill Lynch supports a variety of charitable causes throughout the world. Our focus is on education and carries on the tradition established by Merrill Lynch founder Charles E.Merrill, who believed that education is the key to personal growth and prosperity.
In 2000, Merrill Lynch adopted Children and Youth as its global cause. We support programs that meet the educational needs and interests of underserved children and youth. Leading the way are the employees of Merrill Lynch, who volunteer their time and talents to help youth attain the skills and experiences needed for financial independence and careers success.
Funding Priorities
In our grant making, we seek to develop strategic partnerships with financially sound organizations that have a demonstrated history of delivering innovative and effective educational programs for children and youth that produce substantial and measurable results.
Merrill Lynch does consider a very small number of unsolicited requests from nonprofit organizations, but funding is extremely limited.
