It was inspiring to watch as the students gained a sense of empowerment - a feeling like they could make a real difference with their lives. --Lisa Tsuei, Merrill Lynch Global Classrooms Volunteer
  • Firm-wide commitment to helping underserved communities worldwide
  • Investment of our people, expertise and capital
  • Educational programs that create opportunity

At Merrill Lynch, our greatest asset is our people. Just as we partner with clients, we're also partners in our communities, providing young people with the life skills to succeed. One example is our Global Ambassadors initiative to cultivate future leaders. In partnership with the United Nations Association, Merrill Lynch volunteers bring the Model U.N. experience to public schools. In this program, students assume the roles of ambassadors, debate global issues and explore the economics of resolutions. In communities too often defined by limitations, we're helping youngsters see a world of infinite possibilities.
