As a young man, Dr. Ingida Asfaw left Ethiopia to attend medical school in the United States. Boarding the cargo ship, he promised to return home and provide medical care for his country's poor. He's kept that promise with the partnership of financial advisor Darnell Jackson. Darnell not only helps give Dr. Asfaw the financial freedom to deliver supplies and training, but has worked alongside him in some of Ethiopia's most disadvantaged communities. Today, Dr. Asfaw hopes to build Ethiopia's first cardiovascular hospital. With an advisor who shares his dreams, that goal is just a heartbeat away.
