At Merrill Lynch, philanthropy is a worldwide commitment, and last year, our London office was looking for a new way to make a difference. Recognizing that London's inner-city students faced significant challenges, we decided to get involved. We worked with Tower Hamlets EBP, a leading educational non-profit organization to create Merrill Lynch Enterprise & Entrepreneurship (MLEE). This initiative mobilizes Merrill Lynch volunteers to help students achieve financial literacy and educates them about the world of work, the financial services industry and important life skills. At Merrill Lynch, we realize that students won't get 100% on every test — but they deserve 100% of our commitment.
