Utilizing a highly personalized planning and goals-based approach, The Myers Heil Group brings its affluent clientele their in-depth wealth management strategies. “ Whatever is in our client’s best interest is what we do. Our motivation is to meet their long-term financial goals for themselves and families,” explains Keith Myers. On behalf of hard-working and busy clients in 27 states, the team works closely with business owners, leading executives at international firms, physicians and others in planning for a successful retirement. In order to devote an exceptional degree of attention to clients’ evolving lives, Keith and Carol travel often – visiting clients nationwide and working with their attorneys and CPAs – to update wills, discuss trust matters, and create tax-minimization strategies that align with a client’s overall wealth management plan. For Keith and Carol, collaboration extends to how they work with clients, encouraging both spouses and often times other family members to attend meetings . “We want each person to be comfortable and contribute to the process. We’re fully accountable and transparent. It is our goal to earn our client’s trust and confidence ,” says Carol Heil. Keith and Carol are qualified Portfolio Managers who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing either a personalized or defined strategy, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merill Lynch model portfolios, and/or third party strategies. When servicing clients through the firm's Investment Advisory Program, a Portfolio Manager may manage their strategies on a discretionary basis.“We give clients economies of scale, meaning they consistently share in our best and brightest ideas. Depending on a client’s needs, each portfolio is customized with allocations across three buckets – liquid assets, market-risk assets and opportunistic assets,” says Keith.
Whether clients are planning for retirement, a child’s education or preparing for the transfer of their wealth, each goal is prioritized and coordinated. Often without the cushion of a pension, clients turn to the team for strategies that can create reliable income streams, maintain purchasing power, and leave a legacy for children or charities – while accounting for possible Social Security and inflation scenarios.“We recognize that clients’ lives are fluid. If they change careers, divorce or have a child, we are there for them. From the start, we establish an appreciation of why clients are saving, their motivations and priorities. At all times we are fully engaged. We often celebrate retirements, births, weddings and anniversaries. Our clients are like family,” Carol points out.Keith A.
