Since arriving at Merrill Lynch in 2006, Christine has dedicated herself to serving generations of clients as their lives evolve. Christine also shares her “best practices” with other advisors in the Ocean City office.Christine is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Board of Standards Inc. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Communications from the University of Baltimore and a Master of Science degree in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University. Christine’s favorite “away from the office” moments are spent with her family – husband (and colleague) Brian, and their two sons – playing and watching Little League Baseball, wherever it takes them. Christine also supports Habitat for Humanity through Merrill Lynch, as well as two Worcester County organizations – Junior Achievement and Diakonia (which provides food, clothing, shelter, resources and respect to individuals and families in crisis).
Brian Selzer, CRPC®Senior Financial Advisor Brian began his financial services career in 2005 and arrived at Merrill Lynch in 2006. Now in his tenth year with the firm, Brian helps clients determine the purpose of their wealth and the possible effects of various strategies on family members. He then provides investment recommendations for retirement and college savings, as well as Social Security and income generation strategies.Brian holds the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®) designation and is an alumnus of Green Mountain College in Vermont. Since moving to Worcester County with his wife and colleague, Christine, more than 20 years ago, Brian has been an active member of the local business community and supporter of several charitable organizations (including Habitat for Humanity, through Merrill Lynch). Today, Brian and Christine reside in Berlin with their two “baseball-loving” sons. Whether playing or watching from the sidelines, The Selzer family can be found at local Little League games and each year, at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Melanie S. KonoskiClient AssociateMelanie joined Bank of America more than 30 years ago and transitioned to Merrill Lynch in 2008. As the “point person” for clients’ administrative and account needs, Melanie brings her experience and energy to the office each day – delivering on the group’s commitment to provide clients with an exceptional measure of personal attention. Melanie also serves as clients’ proactive liaison between Christine, Brian, and specialists she’s known for years throughout the firm. Originally from Baltimore, Melanie moved to Ocean City in 1990.
