Ted has extensive experience in financial strategies and portfolio construction. As a senior partner, he focuses on the investment strategy, asset allocation, risk management, and manager selection. Additionally, Ted is an active member of the Financial Advisor faculty at our training facility in Princeton, NJ and is a frequent speaker at Merrill Lynch throughout the United States on best practices. He serves on the Board of the Columbus Zoo as well as the Zoo’s Endowment Board. Ted has over 39 years of experience advising clients, and he believes relationships are the core of the business. By understanding the wants and needs of clients, the team is able to leverage the full resources of Merrill Lynch to help them achieve their financial goals. In the process, the team becomes an essential partner creating opportunities, adding value, and helping to turn visions into reality. Ted graduated from Miami University and earned his MBA from The Ohio State University.Austin Altenburg focuses on corporate retirement and personal financial strategies. He adheres to a disciplined process that delivers a consistent yet customized wealth management experience and he is dedicated to providing service beyond the expectations of his clients. Austin is involved with due diligence of investment selections and actively researches the marketplace so client’s are well-equipped to reach their financial goals. In addition, Austin is responsible for developing new relationships and introducing qualified individuals in need of financial recommendations to the team. Austin is a graduate of Arizona State University and has been in the financial industry since 2004.
Jennifer Newman holds a Certified Investment Manager Analyst® (CIMA®) designation, a very rigorous and highly regarded certificate in the asset management field. She graduated from The Ohio State University and she has 13 years of asset management experience at Merrill Lynch. Allison Kelley began with Merrill Lynch in 2006 at Jacksonville, Florida as a Priority One Representative in the Managed Products Department. She returned to Columbus in 2008 and joined Altenburg & Associates where her commitment is to provide the absolute highest level of service to our clients. Allison’s service model is to exceed client expectations, and she works closely with the team and firm to fully service client accounts. Her experience prior to Merrill Lynch included four years of Mortgage Loan Consulting and several years administering Employee health, and retirement benefits.Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA®) is the owner of the certification marks CIMA® and Certified Investment Management Analyst®. Use of CIMA® and Certified Investment Management Analyst® signifies that the user has successfully completed IMCA’s initial and ongoing credentialing requirements for investment management consultants.
