Richard O'Hara, Financial Advisor, has a business background of more than 25 years. His business career started with Becton Dickinson Consumer Products (BD) where he served in increasing responsibilities and locations (5)over a 10 year period, culminating with a move to Chicago as National Accounts Manager; Midwest Region in 1993. Richard was Becton Dickinson's 1986 Winners Circle Award recipient. After BD, he spent 15 years in the generic pharmaceutical arena where he last served as Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Morton Grove Pharmaceuticals. He was responsible for the $100,000,000 annual sales budget and headed all activities of the Sales and Marketing groups. Additionally, he reported quarterly to the 'private equity' owners of Morton Grove and had significant interaction and exposure to the world of private equity. As part of the senior management team, Richard played a role in the sale of Morton Grove to a Mumbai, India based concern in 2007.After the sale of Morton Grove, Richard was approached to join the Financial Services industry. The experience he gained from those 25 years in business combined with the the latest in training at Merrill Lynch, positions him to best understand the needs of business owners and individual investors. Richard earned a B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, OH and an M.B.A. from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Richard served as a National Director on the Ohio Wesleyan Alumni Board and locally as co-Chairman of the Chicago Leadership Board. Richard has earned the professional designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor(SM).He is Founder and Host of the annual 'Charity Golf Classic' which for the last 4 years has raised funds to battle pediatric cancer. Richard lives in Western Springs and is active in local community organizations and has a son attending the University of South Carolina.Terri Adams has a total of 23 years at Merrill Lynch with experience in both operations as Service Manager and on the sales side as Registered Senior Client Associate. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a major in Marketing and a minor in Management.
