Headed by J. Troy Schiermeyer, who has been with Merrill Lynch for 23 years, the Dallas DA and Associates complex consists of three area offices, headquartered in downtown Dallas. Despite the size of the Complex and the vast global resources of Bank of America and Merrill Lynch, the entire team tries to give each client meeting the feel of an intimate family gathering. Troy believes that when Financial Advisors and clients can connect on a “local” level, there is a net gain in understanding, support and achievement. Troy and all of the Complex’s Financial Advisors are committed to client service and satisfaction. They begin every relationship by working to help clients identify their personal and professional goals, including those related to lifestyle and multi-generational issues. With that information, combined with their ability to draw on a wide range of analysts and specialists, Financial Advisors have the tools to fully understand each client’s current financial situation and help them create strategies designed to meet their short- and long-term objectives, covering a range of wealth management services such as investments, estate planning services, philanthropy, retirement and wealth transfer. We can also provide access to a Wealth Management Banker from Bank of America, N.A., who can assist with personal and commercial cash management, credit and lending. Each of our three offices is involved in local communities, assisting charitable organizations such as Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity, Rebuilding Together Greater Dallas, CCCS of Greater Dallas, American Cancer Society, Children’s Medical, Dallas Home for the Jewish Aged, Family Place, North Texas Food Bank, Soupmobile Inc., The Hope Center, The Salvation Army, The Visiting Nurse Association, Big Brothers Big Sister of North Texas, Dallas Center for the Performing Arts, Dallas Symphony Association Junior Achievement of Dallas, Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, United Way of Metro Dallas and many more.
