EDYTHE M. DE MARCO, a 34-year veteran of Merrill Lynch, is a Managing Director—Wealth Management, Wealth Management Advisor, Portfolio Manager and founder of THE DE MARCO GROUP. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification, awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Edye has been recognized by BARRON'S magazine, since 2009, as one of the country's "Top 1000 Financial Advisors" and, in 2014, 2015 and 2016 as one of the "Top 1,200". She is the only woman to have received this distinction in Rhode Island for eight consecutive years and currently ranks as the state's top woman Financial Advisor (as of March 7, 2016). Edye has been interviewed on topics such as Kids and Money, Women and Money, Divorce and Money, Healthcare in Retirement and Organizing One's Financial Life. She has been featured in BARRON'S, THE NEW YORK TIMES and PROVIDENCE BUSINESS NEWS. Edye is a member of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society of the United Way of Rhode Island and serves on the Finance Committee for St. Martin's Church in Providence. Edye also serves on the Board of Directors of Foster Forward, an organization dedicated to supporting children and families impacted by foster care. She is a member of Lifespan's Planned Giving Council, The United Way of Rhode Island's Women's Leadership Council, the Merrill Lynch "Peer to Peer" faculty and the Women's Exchange Mentor Program, coaching financial advisors throughout the country. Edye has formerly served as a member of the Merrill Lynch Diversity & Inclusion Council and was Co-Chair of the Merrill Lynch Women's Exchange, a forum for women in Global Wealth & Investment Management to enhance both professional and personal development and provide volunteer opportunities for them. Edye is a graduate of Santa Clara University.
BRENDAN P. McCARTHY has been offering wealth management guidance to affluent families, business leaders and charitable foundations since 2003. The corner stone of his focus revolves around the conceptualization and achievement of a client's life driven goals. Brendan is highly respected in the areas of wealth management, portfolio design, executive compensation and family wealth preservation. He oversees the investment strategy for more than $900 million in client assets. Brendan graduated from Suffolk University with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Economics and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He serves on the Trinity Repertory Company Board of Directors. He and his wife, Heather, live in Mendon, Massachusetts, with their four children.
ANTHONY M. FLORIO joined Merrill Lynch in 1998. He has developed an exceptional insight into assisting medical professionals, attorneys and corporate executives with developing tax efficient portfolios, income strategies and retirement planning for their businesses and families. Graduating from Stonehill College with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Anthony has also earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® designation and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Anthony continues to support Stonehill College through the Business Visiting Committee. Anthony also serves on the Tufts Medical Board of Governors where he is involved in the institution's charitable giving program.
JAMISON D. MILLER began his career in financial services in 2008. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, he has focused his career path on the study and conceptualization of financial theory and investment strategy. Jamison serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Rhode Island, a not-for-profit focusing on teaching financial literacy and entrepreneurship to predominately inner-city youth. Beyond his interest in finance, Jamison is an active marathon runner, golfer, skier, yoga practitioner and chess player.
ERIC J. RATZEL began his career in financial services in 2013 and joined Merrill Lynch in 2016. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Knox College and a Master's degree from the University of Chicago, both in Philosophy. Professionally he focuses on the intersection of behavioral financial concepts and modern portfolio theory. Eric works hard to develop data-driven wealth management strategies that are sensitive to a client's personal goals and aspirations. Outside of the office, he enjoys reading, yoga and spending time with his wife and dog.
DIANE J. FIORE joined the financial services industry 38 years ago. She previously owned her own seat on the New York Stock Exchange and was a partner at Brick Securities, a boutique firm, in New York City. Diane joined THE DE MARCO GROUP in 2007 and oversees all account administration and private banking needs for its clients. Working directly with clients, Diane applies her considerable experience to address a range of administrative and operations matters including Alternative Investments, Concentrated /Restricted Stock positions and Liability Management. Due to her unwavering passion for excellence and commitment to personal service, Diane has been recognized as one of the "Top 100 Client Associates" at Merrill Lynch for six consecutive years through 2015. Diane enjoys boating, travel, and fitness. She and her husband, Paul, live in Rehoboth, Massachusetts.
RACHEL E. LARIVIERE began her career in financial services in 2011. As a graduate of Central Connecticut State University and a Registered Client Associate, Rachel has cultivated tremendous proficiencies in client concierge services, marketing and technology. In November of 2014 she brought these skills to THE DE MARCO GROUP. With extreme organizational efficiency, Rachel orchestrates the team's communication, calendar management and client events. Her devotion to superior client service is recognized and highly respected, both by colleagues and clients. Rachel enjoys reading, travel and fitness. She and her fiancé, Kurt, live in Cranston, Rhode Island.
