In 2000, Mike Barry and Kelly Milligan formed The Barry & Milligan Group,a dynamic team of financial professionals, with the goal of responding to the unique wealth management needs of clients through collaboration, commitment and caring. We work with a select group of busy individuals with complex financial circumstances, yet little time to devote to managing their financial affairs.

We begin every relationship with a detailed interview to assess each client’s unique financial situation, their personal values, and their objectives. We then define and refine a customized wealth management strategy focused on the pursuit of those goals. Once their strategy is implemented, we meet with clients regularly to review their progress and make adjustments as warranted.
The Barry & Milligan Group was founded in 2000. Our team has more than 100 years of combined experience offering customized advice and guidance. These specialists can also assist us as we help you transfer your wealth and secure your family’s legacy through vehicles such as living and irrevocable personal trusts, family and marital trusts, and dynasty and other special-purpose trusts.
Multigenerational relationships: It is our steadfast goal to develop and maintain long-term relationships, and be a valued resource for you and your family. We have found that financial transitions are easier when decisions are made in advance of major events, such as an inheritance or the sale of a family business. When you feel it is appropriate, we will engage your heirs in our meetings because we feel that it is important for families to discuss the transfer of their wealth in addition to their values about money.
Access to Bank of America banking services: Through Michelle Walsh, a Merrill Lynch Banking Advisor, we offer access to an expansive array of home financing, and credit and lending services, including securities-based lending. On June 28, 2013, San Francisco Business Times published NABCAP's list of Premier Advisors. NABCAP, a 501(c)3 non-profit, assesses 20 categories of practice management and objectively compares and evaluates all participants numerically.
